Two things you might like to know about Kanga. We hold no more than 100 guests and a huge number keep coming back.

Kanga House is not so big that you get lost in the crowd. You’ll have a chance to look at a room when you check in or ask a question.

You’ll see and be able to talk to the manager or any of our staff when you meet them in the garden or around the place.

But then again you don’t ever get the feeling you are alone and forgotten. The kitchen, courtyard and TV room are great places to meet other guests and talk. When you are out and about you’ll meet backpackers from around the world walking along Victoria Street or in the pub, café, or shops – plus a lot of helpful Aussies.
